Statement
Hovering between abstraction and representation, my work focuses on emotions and thoughts to construct meanings. I explore this process based upon half-forgotten memories of living in Hong Kong. By translating distant impressions into visceral experiences, I have integrated materials and elements that are inherent references to my culture. This approach has allowed me to produce works that bear aspects of history wherein an idea revolves around the metaphor to transform personal meanings.
